What is love?

​The production combines real letters from Anton Chekhov and his wife Olga Knipper-Chekhova, letters that Chekhov could have written and scenes from Chekhov's famous comedy "The Proposal", as well as fragments from Chekhov's plays, thereby creating a unique theatrical collage.

In this performance, W. Tarasjanz reveals Chekhov not only as a playwright, but also as a husband, in love, doubting, and vulnerable.

​This is a story about Chekhov the writer and about Chekhov in correspondence about personal and little-known things.

​"About Love" is about life. And what life is, as we know, no one knows.
